Important information for courses starting in week commencing 15th September 2025

For students joining early start courses, a School-specific Enrolment Suite will be available in room SSB0104 (Sarah Swift Building) on 11 and 12 September 2025, between 9am and 4pm. This will be an opportunity for new students to speak to a member of staff in person if they are experiencing any issues with enrolment. Student ID cards will also be available for collection at this location. Our experienced Professional Services team will be on hand to support with any questions or concerns. International students will also be able to complete their final checks and formally complete their enrolment at this point.

What else do I need to do?

Occupational health and DBS reminder

As part of the conditions of your offer, once we are in receipt of your certificates or have confirmation of your qualifications, depending on your course you may be sent information explaining how to complete your DBS clearance check. If you do receive details regarding a DBS clearance check then please note that this is a compulsory requirement of your course, and you will not be able to enter the clinical placement setting until this is completed. Please do ensure that you complete this in a timely manner.

In addition to your DBS clearance check, you will also receive information regarding Occupational Health. The University of Lincoln will contact you via email. The first stage in the process is completing a questionnaire. The University of Lincoln’s Occupational Health provider may also contact you over the Summer. Please keep an eye out for these communications over the summer period as it is important you complete the first stages of the process before you arrive. You may also be invited to attend a face-to-face Occupational Health session during Welcome Week.

International and EU offer holders will be contacted separately as arrangements may differ, but you will be required to provide a Police check (or equivalent) for any country you have lived in for longer than 6 months in the last 10 years.
