Student ID Cards (New Students Only)

Collecting Your Student ID Cards

Here you can find out more about when and where you can collect your University of Lincoln student ID card.

Please note that you can only collect your Student ID card two days after your photo has been approved. Your card will be available for you to collect on campus. 

Details about the times and locations are as follows:

Home undergraduate and postgraduate taught students

You can collect your card from the ground floor of the Stephen Langton building on 20/21 September 2025, 10 am to 6 pm.

Then from 22 September 2025 (weekdays only, 10am to 3pm, on the ground floor of the Minerva building).

From 6 October, cards can be collected from the Student Support Centre (TBC).

International undergraduate and postgraduate taught students

You will be able to collect your student ID card in the Enrolment Suite on the second floor of the Minerva building, once you have completed Enrolment until Monday 27 October.

Following that date, you will need to collect your card from the Student Support Centre in the Minerva building on the Brayford campus, once you have completed your Enrolment. The Student Support Centre opening hours can be found on the website.

Postgraduate research

Please email studentsupport@lincoln.ac.uk to arrange card collection.

National Centre for Food Manufacturing

If you do not receive your card within two weeks of your course start date, please email holbeachadmin@lincoln.ac.uk to arrange card collection.

Short courses (any course that lasts 6 months or less)

Our online courses will not be automatically issued a student card.

If you are planning on visiting the library, you do not need a student card. You can scan the barcode on the UniLincoln app to enter the library and borrow books and enter your ID and password to print.

If you are planning to come onto campus and would like a student card, you can request one by emailing studentsupport@lincoln.ac.uk

Work-based distance learning

Our Online courses will not be automatically issued a student card.

If you are planning on visiting the library, you do not need a student card. You can scan the barcode on the UniLincoln app to enter the library and borrow books and enter your ID and password to print.
